BSU Presents: HerStory

Thursday morning Pioneer BSU honored African-American women who have paved the way for both us and future generations.

From legendary icons like Madame C.J. Walker and Nina Simone to 21st century trailblazers like Michelle Obama and Ava DuVernay, Pioneer shed light on the various efforts and arts of black women who have inspired us and the world to achieve greatness. Thursday and EVERYDAY BSU celebrates the awesomeness of all that is the black woman.

BSU would like to thank Trustee Baskett for coming out to support along with Dr Anglin and the group of middle schoolers from Slauson Middle for joining us as well!
